I love converting old things into something new and useful! What I did here was take an old bottle of sun-dried tomatoes, wash and cleaned it inside and out, removing all of the labels. I wanted to make my own soap pump dispenser, so I then drilled a one inch hole through the lid. This was to fit a collar ring through it so that a pump top can be screwed on to the lid. Otherwise the pump will just sit on top of the lid unsecured. You can use any top you already have or if you do not have one, I found a great site(onedreamdesign.com) that sells them at a reasonable price, they're also very nice and durable. Once you are finished just decorate however you like. I wanted something cute to match my bathroom, so i just grabbed some glass beads that I had in one of my drawers and simply glued t! hem onto the bottle with super glue. It was very easy, fun, and affordable since it was free!
