From the Web Wednesday: Fourth of July!!

The Fourth of July is just around the corner and if you are anything like me, you are getting really pumped up for a day of family, fun, food and fireworks!

Here are a few Fourth of July crafts that can help get you prepared for the big day!



If you are looking for new and creative ways to decorate for your Fourth of July BBQ, Create My Event posted these super cute pictures of old fashioned patriotic decorations that you can make yourself. They included links to printouts and templates that can help you recreate this look.

From the Web Wednesday: Baby Shower Gifts

I don't know about the rest of you, but I have had to go to several baby showers lately. It got me looking online for some fun baby crafts that would make great baby shower gifts. Check them out if you have one coming up or stock up for any future baby showers you will have to go to!

Prudent Baby created a Swaddle Blanket. With this blanket, you can wrap the baby up really tight and they are super cute! Prudent Baby also comes with a free pattern.

Stardust Shoes has these little shoes (and a pattern!) that you can create that way cute. They would be fun to make them to match the personalities of the mom and dad, using fabric from their favorite sports team for example!

Summertime is here and for many of you that means lots of traveling. Is there anything harder than keeping kids entertained on long road trips? Hopefully these travel activity crafts will help!

The second craft for today's From the Web Wednesday comes from Instructables. They used Altoid tins to create small magnetic car games that are super cute. They even include printable game boards for you to use in your Altoid's tin.
